Welcome to Guides That Work, operated by Tony Tam. By creating an account, making a purchase, or using our website at guidesthatwork.com, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Account Creation and Responsibilities

To purchase guides or subscribe, you must create an account using a valid email address and password, or sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or guardian. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

Payment Terms

We offer two ways to access our guides:

• Individual purchase — $19.99 per guide, one-time payment. You receive lifetime access to the guide and all future updates to that guide.
• Learning Club subscription — $49.99 per month. Includes 5 PDF downloads per month, discussion forum access, direct access to Tony Tam, and early access to new guides.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are in US dollars. We reserve the right to change pricing, but any changes will not affect existing purchases. Active subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect on their subscription.

PDF License and Usage

When you purchase or download a guide, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use it for your own learning. Specifically:

• You may view, download, and print the PDF for your personal use.
• You may not redistribute, share, resell, or publish the PDF in any form — electronically or in print.
• You may not upload the PDF to file-sharing services, torrent sites, or any public or private repository.
• You may not use the guide content to create derivative works for sale or distribution.

Violation of these terms may result in account termination without refund.

Subscription Terms

Learning Club subscriptions renew automatically each month on the anniversary of your signup date. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. When you cancel:

• Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period.
• You retain access to all guides you downloaded during your subscription.
• You lose access to the discussion forum and monthly download allowance once the period ends.
• You can resubscribe at any time.

Intellectual Property

All guides, content, images, code examples, branding, and website design on Guides That Work are the intellectual property of Tony Tam and Guides That Work. They are protected by copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from this site beyond what is explicitly permitted in the PDF License section above.

User Content

When you post on the discussion forum, you retain ownership of your content but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the site. You agree not to post content that is:

• Illegal, abusive, harassing, or threatening
• Spam, advertising, or self-promotion unrelated to the community
• Infringing on anyone else's intellectual property

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders.

Limitation of Liability

Our guides are provided for educational purposes. While we strive for accuracy and quality, we make no guarantees about specific outcomes or results from using our guides.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guides That Work and Tony Tam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of any guide or service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email to the address associated with your account. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in California.
